"I blog but its not getting very popular... nobody comments on my blog... this is useless."
Have you ever found yourself uttering these sad, pathetic, self loathing words?
Well stop. I think I know what you are doing wrong.
You are blogging, far be it for me to judge how well you are blogging, but you are blogging. For the sake of argument, let's assume that what you are blogging is interesting, relevant, original and serves a particular audience that if they found your blog they would read it.
So what's the problem? No traffic.
Okay, duh, and the solution? 3 D your blog.
1 D) Define: Decide precisely which audience you wish to attract and write to them. Without a defined audience you may be sending mixed material. If you are passionate and/or knowledgeable about multiple topics, then author several different blogs, all of which will have their own unique audience. The more niche the topic you offer, the better chance you have at driving traffic.
2 D) Disperse: Do you expect people to just stumble upon your material? Assuming you have been paying close attention to basic Search Engine Optimization elements (keywords, tags, etc), you may already be ranking naturally. Which is good, but now it is time to go viral. Why not begin submitting your material to , "digging" your material, "stumbling" and begin socially bookmarking your blog posts? You consider your material to be relevant, interesting and informational, right? Then you are doing your audience an injustice by not giving them an easier path upon which to find you.
3 D) Dive In!: The single greatest way to drive traffic to your site is to get involved in something larger than you. Become actively engaged in the blogosphere by reading other blogs, commenting on those blogs, and providing links to those blogs that you like, appreciate and think that your audience will enjoy, as well. By commenting on other blogs you are leaving your footprint on those blogs and providing a link back to your blog. Now those that read your comment on others' blogs will also see your URL and may potentially visit your blog. Also, bloggers whom you have read and commented often do the same. Brilliant! But besides that, many bloggers have become known as credible, reliable sources for information simply by commenting on other blogs and providing additional insight.
Now that's what I call a 3 dimensional blogger!

Mirror, Mirror
A mirror does not lie. A mirror reflects light, although that light can be distorted, it is an accurate duplication of what is in front of it.A mirror is also a transformer-it transforms three dimensional images into two dimensional images. A mirrored reflection is as lifeless as the image it is reflecting. A mirror cannot reflect life, only the ex...
