I came so they can have real life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of. -- Jesus Christ (John 10:10)

The following three keys are the most BASIC and PROFOUND for a foundation from which you can begin to live a fuller life! Try them every day for 1 week, and record the changes you begin to experience. (Then continue for 2 more weeks, and you will have formed a habit that can begin to transform your life!)

#1. THANK YOU! "Enter with the password thank you," says Psalm 100 in The Message translation of the Bible. Now that's a funny concept, being thank you is what we are usually taught to say after we receive something. But it is indeed a powerful way to enter into a new beginning. In fact it grants us access into all that God has, and draws it into our lives through our faith in His goodness.

In Luke 17 Jesus healed 10 lepers. One returned to give Him thanks. The scriptures tell us though the 9 were 'cleansed', the one who was thankful was 'made whole.' (The Greek word Sozo means: saved, healed and delivered.)

It is a spiritual principle that the requirement for receiving more, is being thankful for what you already have. So try taking on an attitude of gratitude, and watch your blessings begin to multiply. You can begin from where ever you are, remembering this: If you put an add in the paper, offering your life circumstances in trade for another's, you would get MANY calls, because there are many people worse off than yourself!

#2. YES! Just as surely as 'thank you' gives us access to all God has for us, the simple, but powerful little word 'yes' gives God access to all we have. It is God's password into our lives - allowing Him to move on our behalf, and begin making a way for us to live more abundantly.

Saying yes to God always brings more life, because we are coming into agreement with what His loving care has deemed the very best for our lives. A heart that can say yes to God is a heart on it's way to becoming fully alive!

#3. I CHOOSE LIFE! Choosing life is the most basic and powerful choice any of us can make. Try it daily, out loud, and you will begin to see what a difference it makes!

Those who have been deeply wounded or abused often find it hard to believe that they can choose for themselves. Their will has been overpowered and taken captive. When this has occurred, the first choice can be to choose again - today!

Deuteronomy 30: 11,14,15, 19 For this commandment which I command you this day is not too difficult for you, nor is it far off. But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your mind and in your heart, so that you can do it. See, I have set before you this day LIFE and good, and DEATH and evil. Therefore CHOOSE LIFE, that you and your descendants may live.
