The Consistency Principle And How It Effects Your Success

September 7th, 2008 by admin in Inspirational Stories

While some people in the world are known as the Golden Boy or Girl, there are those who bow their head in shame, fearing they will be a failure for the rest of their lives. In actuality, the difference between the person with low self-esteem and the continuously successful simply involves following a consistent path.

At some point in time, everyone has experienced the warm feeling of sweet success. It may have been the personal triumph of abandoning your walker as a baby or acing your first Biology test. No matter who you are, a proud smile or sense of accomplishment has been felt at least once.

Now back to what separates the successful from the average Joe or Jane. Successful people have tasted the fruit of their labors and developed a ravenous appetite that cannot be easily quieted. They search for all things that will satisfy their appetite for success, tackling their obstacles, besting their competition and bulldozing barriers. They consistently seek out the things that allow them to continue on the path towards success. Each meal (goal) they devour, brings them closer and closer to reaching the personal goals they have set for themselves.

When it comes to achieving personal goals, consistency is key. For some, it is rather easy to do something well once in a lifetime. You may finally beat your brother in a game of bowling after many, many years of trying. After a dare, you might even overcome your fear of snakes once and touch the skin of a python.

But, the real strength in character and confidence comes when you can muster a repeat performance. Can you touch a boa constrictor or even go as far as baby-sit the reptile pet for your friend? Do you have the confidence to challenge your brother again?

The consistency in overcoming your personal fears and doubts is what separates the successful from the average individual. Whenever you falter in your quest to achieve success, the next person is lurking in the shadows to take your place, as well as glory. In this cruel, fast-paced world of business, there is no room for lack of consistency.

If you feel becoming consistent is a far-fetched reality to achieve, you have overlooked the daily activities you participate in, which are conducted on a routine basis. These include the common processes of eating, sleeping, and drinking. We drink when we are thirsty, eat when hungry and sleep when we have run out of energy. Successful individuals take as much stock in achieving their personal goals, as they do with the necessities in life.

Those who are consistent in their efforts towards success often prosper throughout life, while others who procrastinate and lag behind are left to themselves, as they eventually waste their potential. How many people have you met who tell tales of what they could have been?

Successful individuals, such as the rich and famous perform on a routine basis. Their consistency is seen through their actions as they continue to make money with their talent, skills and effort.

An example of this can be seen through the consistency of a good actress. She works at her craft, often challenging herself with a multitude of roles that showcase her ability to play anything. Her efforts are rewarded through movie award nominations and recognition within the film industry. Before long, she is the one that top directors and producers call upon to bring their scripts to life.

This attitude can be used in all realms of and approaches towards business and self-satisfaction. Being consistent throughout life and work allows individuals to achieve their dreams, desires and goals in a manner that withstands the test of time.

Life with Katie: My Child with Cerebral Palsy

September 6th, 2008 by admin in Inspirational Stories

I am guessing if you are reading this article you either have child with Cerebral Palsy or know someone who has this condition. If you do not know what Cerebral Palsy is, I will tell you in laymans terms. It means brain damage. The damage can be either so minor that it is hardly noticeable or it can be severe mental and physical damage. My daughter was born with Cerebral Palsy because while in the womb, her intestine twisted causing my wife and her to be under stress. Katie had six strokes before she was born. The damage caused her to be partially paralyzed on the left side of her body.

Now this article is about how my wife and I dealt with raising her. Recently, I joined a personal development website. As I have been listening and watching some of the audios and videos, I have realized that some of the virtues taught, we have been doing for years. We have just not had any training. Probably like yourself, we had some of these qualities, but did not know how to harness or exploit them.

The first feelings we had were uncertainty for the future. We were both young. But really, no one is ever ready for anything like this. At first, no one would tell us what was wrong or what to do. All we could think was we had the worst situation ever. We did not know if it was a freak accident or genetic. Would this affect any other children we had? But after the shock wore off, we realized God had blessed us. Other babies in the intensive nursery weighted around 2 lbs. Our Katie weighted over 6 lbs. She stayed in the hospital for 51 days. We were told at the beginning that she would be in the intensive nursery for possibly 6 months.

From this uncertainty of the future, my wife and I learned our first lesson when dealing with a handicapped child, which was to realize how blessed we were. We had family members who had helped us get through the initial shock. I had a good job with insurance that paid almost all of the medical expenses. Our child was alive. You really do not understand how strong you are until something like this happens. All you can really do is try to take care of the moment. Abraham Lincoln once said The best thing about the future is that it comes only one day at a time.

The next thing we learned was to make a commitment to our child. A quote I enjoy by Marian Wright Edelman goes like this, You’re not obligated to win. You’re obligated to keep trying to do the best you can every day. It was almost a year before anyone would tell us she had Cerebral Palsy. We knew something was wrong, but did not know what it was. She was not doing the things that normal babies could do. After we were told she had Cerebral Palsy, my wife and I had to make a commitment to Katie that we would do whatever we needed to do to help her function in a normal world. We could hide her from the world or treat her like our other children. We chose to do the best we could to help her.

After you make the commitment, you have to be willing to follow through. You are going to be the person taking them to the doctors. You are going to be focusing a lot of time on helping this person. Katie could not walk by herself until she was eight years old. But my wife and I decide we would not put her in a wheelchair if she could at least walk with help. They have a therapy called Conductive Education. We sent her to Canada three times for five-week courses. We actually raised the money to send her, and for us to stay with her, by holding garage sales. We would hold one every weekend in different locations for two to three months. We would tell people the garage sale money was being used to help Katie get to the camp. Do you know that people would bring us stuff to sell or tell us to come by and pick up stuff. You may not believe this, but I had a sixteen-foot horse trailer loaded up when I got ready to have the sale. By the end of the sale, we were restocked with new items. Also, sometimes people would donate money. My wife, our family members and I were willing raise the money to get her to the camp. Remember, Where the willingness is great the difficulties cannot be great. says Niccolo Machiavelli

Now, the most important thing I have learned in my life with Katie is never give up. Now I understand that not everyone has the same circumstance, but set goals. Something always told me that she could walk. Now I knew she would not walk perfect, but she would walk. And through her efforts and the effort of my wife, others, and me, she can walk. We also knew she needed an education like the other kids, so we required her to do the same as other kids. It always took her longer to do everything. But she has ended up graduating early and is now in college working on a degree in accounting. We are still helping her adjust. But our goal is for her to be as independent as she possibly can. Dont hide the person. Try to include them in everything you do. We always took our daughter out in public. When she was in school, we pushed her to do her best. Ruth Gordon once said, Never give up and never face the facts.

I believe that when facing the challenges of dealing with a Cerebral Palsy person or any person with a handicap, there are three things to remember that can help you through. First, realize when the uncertainty of the future overwhelms you, that you have family and friend to support and help you through these trying times. If you are the one helping the handicap person, you will need to make a commitment and be willing to go the distance. And last, but most important, never give up. There are going to be times when you want to throw in the towel. Take a step back, and grab a breath. Think about what Booker T. Washington once said, Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome. I am a firm believer that God does not give a person more than they can handle. If you are a parent of a Cerebral Palsy child, God has given you a special gift. He has entrusted you a special person. Dont be afraid to pray. Sometimes that may be the only thing that will get you through the hard times.

My Life As A Dog Artist

September 5th, 2008 by admin in Inspirational Stories

Every dog owner has a story, a nail-biting thriller or legend ,of how cosmic events tumbled into place and the greatest dog in the world came to be theirs. What would a mathematician or statistician say about the prevalence of such one-in-a-million odds? The truth is that dogs remind us every day that long shots are only abstractions, and that if we let the universe do its job, it gets it right. It gets it perfect.

I didnt always believe this. I used to think I was in charge of my destiny. In the early 90s I moved to Hollywood determined to break into the film business. I was cocky and I was lucky a potent mix. Through a family friend, I landed a job as Kevin Costners assistant. I traveled the world working on movie sets. I went to the Oscars. I was on the right track.

Then, I became a screenwriter and, strangely, a dog owner (since I was never a dog person and became one by bonding with a puppy I was supposed to give to someone else.) Happily, I spent hours at the computer with my beloved longhaired dachshund as my muse. I got an agent. I got jobs. One day I planned, as all writers do, to direct my own screenplay. Then I got sick.

In 2000, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I became bedridden, depressed and terrified. Unable to think and barely able to function, I lost everything that defined me — my job, my personality, my fearless nature, and my dreams.

After years of doctors visits, I found a way to manage the disease, and I began to look for purpose in my life. I still could hardly string two words together, but I could cut and paste. Christmas was coming so I decided to make collages for my familys gifts. I found the most inspiration in all our dogs and my company DreamDogsArt was born.

I never thought I would become an artist. But then, I never thought I would file for disability, or take prescription painkillers, or say no to many of the things I used to love. I am not going to contend that this nightmare disease has made my life better. Living is pain is a constant battle. But I will say that things were the worst when I was in the deepest denial, when I lied to people about my health, when I pushed myself and thought I could will my way out of my diagnosis.

Only when I was honest with myself, and risked being honest with others did things start to change and slowly improve. This meant giving up old dreams. But it also made room for new ones. Letting go of who I thought Id be is the hardest thing Ive ever done. But resisting reality nearly destroyed me.

Today, maybe Im not the cocky go-getter I once was, but now Im in awe of the universe and the magic it has in store for us in a new and profound way. And that IS better. Thinking I was in charge was exhausting, finding out Im not made room for my dog, my art, and my life. Im so thankful I learned to let go.

Cup of Hope - Inner Silence

September 5th, 2008 by admin in Inspirational Stories

After draining my second cup of coffee this morning, I poured a bowl of Special K Vanilla, and sat down for some reading. The house was quiet, and I longed to take advantage of the quiet by writing. But I couldn’t. So instead, I searched for a morsel of motivation or inspiration to get me going.

I rummaged through my bookmarked favorites and discovered some wonderful reading. Yet, nothing grabbed me by the collar and inspired me to write. Then I found an article, “Finding Silence” by Holly Lisle. Boy, did this one ever strike a nerve in me!

You see, I’ve secretly been blaming my lack of writing on not having enough quiet time. I even started telling myself that I’d just put off my dreams until my children are grown, then I’ll have more time for me. But I knew even as I told myself this lie that if I really want something, I am going to have to create it in my own life. Nobody is going to hand it to me.

Says Lisle, “The silence I’m talking about, the silence we as writers must have to be productive, is silence inside ourselves. That silence travels anywhere. We carry it with us as if it were a private retreat in the mountains nestled next to a crystalline, ice-cold lake, surrounded by forests and pervaded by peace. And this silence is hard to find and hard to hold. It is as elusive as a rainbow, as easily shattered as sugar glass, as rare as a white stag, as skittish as a wild colt. A single worry about an unpaid bill or an appointment with a dentist or a remembered argument can destroy this silence for an hour or a day, and no amount of gritting teeth and frowning at monitor with fingers poised on keyboard will lure it back.”

How true this is! Not just for writers, but for all of us. When there is no silence within ourselves, we grow restless, frustrated and feel as though we’ve somehow been abandoned.

For weeks I’ve prayed for direction and inspiration from God. I think that this week my prayers also focus on finding my inner silence.

26 Steps to Self Love, Excerpt from Dear God, How Can I Finally Love Myself?

September 4th, 2008 by admin in Inspirational Stories

Here are 26 Steps you can take from within to build your self worth, esteem, and help you bring out all you desire to be and express in your life. They are phrased in first person to help you integrate them, until you are living your truth on all levels, in all areas of your life and are, in fact, genuinely feeling pure love and acceptance for yourself.

20. I remember that whether or not someone is in my life is never a reflection of me; it is merely a reflection of their preference, and I honor their preference without taking it personally and allowing it to hurt me.

21. I remember that whether I believe I can or I believe I cant, Im right!

22. I know that what I create in my life is an expression of what fills my heart with joy. It is never a validation of who I amit is pure expression.

23. I know that outward status does not constitute a persons worth. All people are equally worthy during pleasant times and unpleasant times.

24. I realize that my greatest challenges have been my greatest teachers. I have learned much from the difficulties I have been through, and I help others, even if only by sharing.

25. I create every circumstance in my life, and I do so in cooperation with others, all with pure motives.

26. I use the following guideline to manifest the life I came here to live, beginning with how I view myself:

A. Decide. I decide how I want to feel, how I prefer to live, and how I prefer to create my life.

B. Commit. I commit fully to the process.

C. Be Willing. I am willing to do whatever it takes with dignity and pure motives, including the mirror dialogue, to help me shine from the inside out.

D. Let Go. I let go of the expectations of others, along with my doubts, and replace them with what feels true for me.

E. Follow. I follow my truth every moment, and I follow through in my actions everything that represents my highest and deepest truth.

F. Wait. I have patience with an ever unfolding process in my life, and I remember to enjoy the process rather than just live for an outcome.

G. Experience. I am experiencing all I first decided to, and now I am living completely in the moment, enjoying this journey called my life.

27. My creative expression is too important to stifle out of fear of what others think. I bring my creative expression out from my heart because I care that it makes a difference while I enjoy the process.

28. My romantic relationship is with a person who is my dearest and best friend. We are fully supportive of each other and trust each other completely.

29. I listen to my body and rest when I feel tired, go for a walk in nature when I need rejuvenation, and consume only what is good for my body.

30. I remember that the goals I am working to achieve constitute every moment of my life, and I live them out with passion.

31. I ask for support when I need it, and allow myself to be real.

32. In my writings to God, I ask to know about anything that is unconsciously holding me back, and how to transform it.

33. In my writings, and each day, I ask to be divinely guided toward only what is for my highest good and the highest good of all.

34. I speak to and treat all others in the same manner that I would want to be treated and spoken to.

35. I stop looking for outward status and start being a pure change that I would love to see in this world.

36. I never explain my personal views or spiritual preferences to people who cannot relate. I share what I choose to share only with people who can be supportive rather than arguing with me to negate my truth.

37. I select my close personal friends very carefully based on the goodness in their hearts, and for no other reason.

38. I remember to ask for pointers and guidance from people who are in a position I would like to move into, and I trust they will be happy to give me a few pointers in a positive direction.

39. I admit my true feelings to myself rather than fighting them and trying to make them go away. They are trying to tell me something I need to acknowledge and know.

40. I create my lifes work and purpose based solely on heartfelt inspiration. Passion, not outcomes, fuels my purpose.

41. I fully trust that when something does not work out the way my personality wanted it to, ultimately, it worked out for my highest good.

42. I trust that any delay is a blessing in disguise.

43. I set priorities for my daily activities according to what I feel most inspired to do. My schedule is filled only with what I love.

44. I stop doing anything that no longer brings me joy, with the exception of caring for my children, and clear out any part of my life that I no longer feel excited about.

45. I know that I am the creator today of what my life will look like tomorrow.

46. If I ever worry about what others are going to think, I remind myself that anyone can think many things. What is most important is following through with what I believe in my heart is real and true, so long as it brings harm to no one, including myself.

47. I stay away from drama, gossip, negative people, and negative situations. I surround myself only with people and situations that reflect the pure truth inside my heart.

48. I stop trying to follow what others are doing, and instead create and bring out what I love as my own unique contribution to my life and this world.

49. I remember that no matter how successful a person may be, the truest form of success is a loving and pure heart. That is priceless and eternal.

Why Viral Meningitis Was The Best Thing That Ever Hapenned To Me!

September 4th, 2008 by admin in Inspirational Stories

I get asked all the time how I became “Mr. Natural Skin Care” on the web. What drives me to spend so many thousands of hours researching toxins and exposing fake “natural” skin care product makers?

Well, as you are about to discover the answer is simple. Because of a life threatening illness I had 5 years ago I got a massive wake up call that dramatically impacted my life.

This painful experience practically forced me to take direct action by clearing out the toxins in my system. Fast forward to today…I haven’t been sick for over 2 years because my immune system is stronger than Fort Knox!

My story goes like this…

…As I lay in my hospital bed in a pool of sweat with my head feeling like it was getting crunched by a jackhammer every two seconds I remember thinking to myself, “Man, if you make it out of this you are going to have to make some big changes in your life.”

The day was Saturday the 11th of March 2000. For the last 7 days I had been struck down with a “mystery illness” and no doctor could tell me why or what was causing this excruciating pain throughout every cell of my body.

After visiting my third doctor in seven days he had only one piece of advice for me, “Get to the nearest hospital…NOW!” The closest hospital was 20 minutes away, I made it there in 7 breaking the Australian land speed record in the process.

Straight away the doctors put me in for a brain scan. As I waited for the results the doctors told me it was one of three things: viral meningitis; bacterial meningitis or a brain hemorrhage.

They told me I should hope for the first one as the last two can be fatal. So now I was praying to God for viral meningitis! For what seemed like an eternity the doctor came back in to deliver the news.

He paused for a moment and said, “Do you want the good news or the bad?” I said “Give me the good first.” He continued, “We think you have viral meningitis, but we have to do one more test to make sure.”

He then pulled out a needle longer than a samurai sword and plunged it directly into my spinal cord to drain all the spinal fluid from my brain.

The meaning of pain had just been redefined…again.

He came back 10 minutes later and said, “Yes, you have viral meningitis, now go home and get some rest.” Music to my ears, however as I left the hospital I vowed to myself to take my health more seriously, purge my system of toxins and kick the habits which put me there in the first place.

I now firmly believe that this event was the best thing that could have happened to me. The reason why is because this started me on the natural non-toxic path.

So, what have I done since that fateful day?

Well, the first thing I did was get into shape. I actually competed in the “Body for Life” physique transformation contest placing in the Top 2000 finalists - out of 500,000 entrants.

The second thing I did was eliminate all the toxins in my life that I could control. That goes for all personal care products and household (toxic) products.

What is the moral of this story? Simple. I urge you to take all the steps necessary to start living a natural non-toxic lifestyle, before it’s too late. Don’t wait for a life- threatening illness to give you a wake-up call like it did for me.

Put simply my motto is “Live Natural, Avoid Pain.”

To get started on the right track you’ll want to keep your eyes glued to your email in-box this time tomorrow.

Make no mistake, this secret has dramatic implications for not only your skin but your general health and well-being. If you can conquer this toxic demon you are well on your way to becoming a fully-fledged IOC (Informed Organic Consumer).

Adam Waters exposes the hazardous toxins that lurk in mainstream and so-called “natural” skin care products with hard-hitting product reviews at http://www.natural-skincare-authority.com that cut through the corporate hype and spin. To find out how you can lead a 100% natural non-toxic lifestyle sign up for your free mini-course, Natural Skin Care Secrets.

When I Have Ten Million Dollars

September 4th, 2008 by admin in Inspirational Stories

When I have ten million dollars I will create an ‘Inspirational Centre’* in a quiet beach location in Queensland, Australia, where people can come to relax and learn at the same time, all manner of inspirational things.

In school life we are not taught how to relate to each other in our families, friendships or intimate relationships, which can cause great dilemmas for a lot of us in later life, in many ways. I will bring in the ‘best’ Facilitators in the World today, to give workshops to teach young people how to relate and older colleagues methods to uncover the ‘Real’ person inside.

How to handle and amass financial wealth and success building is also not taught in school, so I will ensure workshops to become abundantly wealthy in those areas of life are available.

Lessons in diet and nutrition will be available, as well as cooking classes to complement the teachings. Also, lessons in cooking from other cultures will be on offer ensuring that you learn the methods yourself, to take home to your family and friends.

Looking after your body physically will be a priority. Chiropractic Care, Detox Programs, Neuro Linguistic Programming, Reiki, Kinesiology, Acupuncture and Massage will be offered.

And relaxation methods, yoga, singing, dancing, firewalking, bushwalking, photographic lessons, sailing and just lazing on the beach will all be available. Day trips to other beaches and islands for photographic expeditions as well as just to go exploring, and all manner of water sports that are friendly to the environment will be included.

All set in a beautiful lush location with bungalows providing the utmost privacy as well as being eco friendly, carbon neutral and environmentally friendly. The bungalows will be set far enough away from each other and the main areas to ensure noise from all of the singing and dancing will not disturb your tranquility. Your bungalow will have huge shutters so you can open them up and be at one with nature, and in the bedroom there will be a glass atrium in the roof so you can gaze at the stars at night. Beds will be large and luxurious with the finest organic cotton bedding available. Beautiful baths big enough for 2 will be fed by a sculpted gravitational water system to make you feel like you are bathing in a waterfall.

The food will be delicious, organic and as close to nature as possible. Meals will be a communal affair or private platters ordered to be served in your bungalow or for a picnic at the beach or in shaded areas.

Night time entertainment could be sitting by a bonfire, reading inspiring books, watching inspirational movies or listening to speakers or soft music whilst sipping on a glass of wine.

My ‘Inspirational Centre’*.

I can feel it, smell it and taste it!

What will you do?

The Cave: Going Within, A Journey Of Self Discovery

September 3rd, 2008 by admin in Inspirational Stories

The demands of life in today’s society place enormous pressure on all of us. Finding a moment away from the constant noise of traffic, advertisements, television and the urgency of every day concerns seems impossible. Friends and loved ones need us. There are bills to be paid, projects to finish. The babble is deafening! This myriad of distractions creates a cacophony of sensations which overload our receptors, desensitizing us to the voice of our creative being and Spirit.

Don’t beat yourself up if you find yourself in need of “Me” time or for feeling the need to withdraw from others into the seclusion of your own private cave. Going into the cave physically or metaphorically is an important and life affirming act. Symbolically, the cave represents isolation, contemplation and a gathering of resources needed to face future challenges. The silence of the cave affords us an opportunity to regain our center and to ground the overflow of stresses which otherwise lead to anxiety and depression.

Knowing yourself and listening deeply to the promptings of your inner voice is essential to making healthy life choices.
When we fail to honor time spent alone, secluded from outside influences and demands, our spirit suffers. Desensitized and disconnected, the choices we make are not genuine to our soul expression and the sublimated urgings of our authentic self will manifest in unhealthy attitudes, behaviors and as illnesses. We become destructive, lashing out at the forces which bind us. Anger turns inward where it becomes self loathing. We find ourselves sabotaging relationships. Our desires go unfulfilled.

Time spent in silence and contemplation may at first seem uncomfortable and challenging but the experience is healing. By turning inward and seeking the solace of isolation, energies spent in fruitless action pool internally, coalescing, focusing to recharge our mental, physical and spiritual batteries. Listening to and questioning that part of ourself which remains hidden behind a social mask, will reconnect us with hopes and dreams we’ve buried, freeing us to gather resources, hone talents and prepare to face the rigors and challenges ahead. Often answers found within the cave reveal hidden and unexpected jewels of creativity or personal insight, opening the door to authentic self expression and deeper relationships.

Going into the cave requires more than shutting out the intrusive demands of others, it asks that you remove yourself from the flood of outside information bombarding you. Try turning off the TV and radio. Resist popping in a DVD and “vegging” out with a bowl of popcorn. Put down the novel and separate yourself for a time from the voices of other people’s creativity. Make a journal entry. Spill you guts onto the page. Paint a picture. Use your child’s muddy finger paints. Go for a walk in the woods or sit on the porch and simply watch the world move around you. Listen to the thoughts inside your head as an observer, without criticism. Take time to be alone with yourself as a friend.

Marvelous things happen in the cave. Spirit speaks to us, lessons are absorbed or learned. Hibernation, germination and reflection are essential to growth and connection with the divine. The cave is your cocoon and in it your infant self develops adult organs, undergoing complete metamorphosis.
Take time to know yourself and to transform.
Free yourself to embrace this stage of your development.
Enter the cave with trust and at peace, knowing that you will emerge from it renewed and inspired.

Passion - Use It Or Lose It

September 2nd, 2008 by admin in Inspirational Stories

Passion is the great equalizer. It can make up for a lack of experience and knowledge. I am not suggesting that you not develop your knowledge or experience, only that until you do your passion will be interpreted by others as a strong belief in yourself, your mission and your purpose.

Passion is different from enthusiasm. The old out-worn clich says, Act enthusiastic and you will become enthusiastic. I have never subscribed to this philosophy. The reason is that if enthusiasm is only an act that you use when things are going well, how do you behave when your life is falling apart at the seams? Are you just as enthusiastic in life when you are failing or your life seems full of discouragement, adversity that seems to follow your every decision and action, more problems than you deserve and frustration that haunts you at every turn? What happens when you act enthusiastic while waiting to become (being) enthusiastic you will develop an excellent enthusiastic act. Trust me, this act will not get you very far in life. Being will. Enthusiasm comes from the Greek word: en-theos (from God)

Passion is not an act. It is a way of believing. It is woven into your cellular structure just as much as your DNA. Passion, real passion for who you are, who you are becoming, what you believe, what you want or desire, where you are, and where you are going, what you believe in, stand for and would die for shouts to the world, I am here to stay, I am here to make a difference, I will leave my mark in this world. It may take me my entire life, but I will not give up until my purpose and destiny are realized.
Who do you know that is passionate about something? Anything?

You can see it in their eyes, hear it in their voice and sense it in their behavior. How are you doing? Are you in love with where you are, where you are going, who you are becoming and what you are contributing? Or, are you living like over 85% of the population with the attitude, Same Stuff, Different Day.

If you have lost or are losing your passion for life, your career or a relationship. Do what ever is necessary to get it back. Here are a few ideas to consider.

1. Count your blessings.

2. Accept the reality of how your life is unfolding.

3. Manage your expectations.

4. Let go of old baggage.

5. Accept yourself just as you are.

6. Live with an attitude of gratitude.

7. Find a way to serve your fellow humanity.

8. Do what you love, not what you must do.
