Blogging on your niche topic will help you to quickly build a following of loyal readers who will form the basis of your online business. Once you have set up your blog you will want to blog daily for at least a month so that your blog has more of a chance of standing out from the other million or so blogs that are not read by many people, if at all. Here are some ways to find interesting, fresh content for your blog on a regular basis.
- Search for as many other blogs on your topic as possible. Subscribe to these blogs and read them regularly. When you read a blog post of interest to you or your readers, comment on the other blog and then write a post on your blog and link back to the original post. Soon, readers from the other blog will be curious about who you are and what you are writing about and will begin to visit your blog.
- Write and submit articles on your topic to the article directories. Each time you write an article, see if you can turn this information into one or two blog posts. This is called repurposing and is a great way to keep writing more blog posts.
- Write one long post and then write shorter posts during the following week that relate back to your long post. This will give you more links and help your blog to be noticed regularly.
